Hi Team,

The customer is using AFE4300.

Q1: The customer needs to know how much the output sine wave frequency is when he measures the biological impedance.

Q2: Can the output sine wave frequency be adjusted? If it can be adjusted, can AFE4300 achieve the sweep function? How to adjust the output sine wave frequency?

Q3:Is the output sine wave frequency generated by the DAC?

Hi Mickey,

Here are the answers to you questions.
Q1: Frequency of the output sine wave is programmable using a register setting.
Q2: Sine wave frequency can be swept by changing the register setting by the controller.
Q3: Yes, sine wave is generated by 6 bit DAC.

Q1: How much can be set for the frequency of the output sine wave? 255KHZ?

Q2: Can the the frequency of the output sine wave be set by the BCM_DAC_FREQ register on page 24 of the datasheet?

Hi Mickey,

Since there is 150KHz LPF after the DAC, we support till 150KHz.
Yes, you are correct, frequency of sine wave can be changed using BCM_DAC_FREQ.
