I would like to control the data rate from the AFE4404 externally from an MCU that has another device in the system as the master. Is there a specific sequence to setting this up. Is it as simple as sending an AFE_RESETZ (~5us) and waiting for ADC_RDY? This assumes an external master clock is applied. This is synchronization but with another device other than an AFE4404.

Hi RC,

The data rate in AFE4404 is controlled by the "PRPCT" register for a given clock.
So, if you want to change the data rate you have to change this register or change the clock itself.
