ADC1175: low speed data acquisition?

Hello,

I have an application for an 8-bit ADC, but it is low-speed. I like the specifications of the ADC1175 because of it's parallel output and two reference voltage inputs. However, I can only provide a clock signal up to 100KHz. Will this work as a clock speed even though it is outside the recommended range?

Greg,

Due to the architecture of the device, the ADC will have a minimum operating clock rate that will not work at lower speeds close to DC.

Anything below the minimum conversion clock rate stated in the data sheet will cause the ADC to not work. If you need to operate as low as 100 KSPS, I recommend you consider one of the precision ADCs that are rated for that clock rate.
