TSW1400EVM: AFE5809 + TSW1400EVM TIMED OUT ERROR (during Capture)

Hi,

I'm having issue with AFE5809 + TSW1400EVM board. I not able to capture waveforms. Installation of board GUIs, cable drivers are done. Power supply is also been given. Firmware source is also downloaded successfully. 

I get this error: TIMED_OUT_ERROR

User led 2 is ON.

Here is the setup, could you please if there is something wrong with the setup. I'm not able to figure it out what's wrong.

What could be the issue?

    Hi Raunaq,

    The issue can be from the TSW1400 side, your PC(plus GUI installations) or the AFE5809EVM side.

    I'ld recommend first verifying that the AFE5809EVM is configured properly and sending the required clocks to the TSW1400 capture card.

    • In addition to using the setup.bat file for the AFE5809GUI installation, did you also check J9 for a 40MHz signal?
    • Are you able to observe clock signals on the P10-58 and P10-66 connector pins for DCLK and FCLK after starting up the AFE5809EVM and its GUI?
    • Do you see the SPI address, data fields and the GUI status bar "Ready for new command" boxes executing initialization commands at GUI startup?
