One customer ask:

"I bought ADS1282EVM evaluation module and already tested it with ADCPRO software. Now, I need documentation required to build a new Virtual Instrument based on Ni-Visa commands.

Where can I find the information related to Visa Commands supported by ADS1282EVM?

It that possible? Could him use some standard commands?

    Hi Alessio,

    What the customer is asking for might be possible; however, the MMB0 is not really intended to be used as a development board. The firmware for the MMB0 is designed specifically for use with ADCPro and the software is limited in what it can do. Unfortunately, we're just not able to provide support for software modifications to the EVM.

    I would suggest to the customer that they use their own development board (if they have one), or perhaps look into using an National Instruments SPI interface device (something like this: www.ni.com/.../i2c-spi-interface-device) which would provide a much better development platform.
