Part Number: ADC16V130EB

Can I use this ADC evaluation board standalone(without using mentioned data capture card). I want to use separate Xilinx FPGA to communicate with this ADC evaluation board. Is it possible? What are the output connectors at this ADC. What type of connectors are needed to interface this ADC with any FPGA board.

    Hi Abhijeet

    The ADC16V130EB board is designed to interface with the Wavevision 5 data capture board.  The digital data (LVDS signalling) is output on a FutureBus connector as follows:

    D15     to      D8                  D7     to       D0

    A5/B5 to A12/B12 and A14/B14 to A21/B21

    The DRDY output data clock (LVDS) is available on pins A13/B13.

    Please refer to the ADC16V130EB User Guide for more details.

    I don't believe there are any standard Xilinx FPGA evaluation cards with a compatible FutureBus connector.
