Part Number: DAC161S997
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54061
Hello,
We are facing a problem with DAC161S997. We are using the TPS54061 as VCC source and the SPI has an digital isolation to the uC.
Sometimes we have the Problem that the current rises to > 30 mA. This happens sometimes, when i plugin in the banana plug after the system was offline at temperatures of 50-70 °C. When i measure the resistance of the internal resistor R2, i get an value < 5 Ohm between the pins COMA and OUT. The digital Part of DAC still works fine. I think the feedback control system in the DAC is damaged.
Systems with valid DACs show a resistance of 42 Ohm between the pins COMA and OUT.
How can this happen? Could it be, that the control system has a problem to regulate the current athigh slew rates, when i plugin in Loop+ in a lab power supply?
Thank you for your help.
