I have a customer who is wondering how the power dissipated and temperature are related near 85C (the max temp). Is there any chart showing power vs temp correlation?

One more question that just came up regarding the temperature. How does Ambient temperature correlate to junction temperature in the first graph that you sent me?

Russell,

Junction temp vs ambient temp are related with device’s thermal characteristics as well as board design.

Using a thermal simulation software junction temperature can be predicted for given ambient temp.
