Dear Team,

My customer has a restriction on the wakeup time of the DAC.

We're looking for the wakeup time from the beginning of SPI commands to the settling of the output RF.

Our goal is to reach the shortest time possible

The datasheet specifies 90usec however it is not specified for which mode.

Can you advise ?

Hi Jim,

This is still open however a few additional questions has been added regarding the power consumption at 'sleep' mode.

I also know that the team is working on it already. You're probably also CC'ed.

Hi Nir,

By turning off the sleep pin block (DAC A, B, C, D, Bias Amp, Clock Receiver, PLL, Temp Sensor) and all 8 Serdes lanes, our power consumption is 114.6mW. The wakeup time was measured separately for the sleep pin block and Serdes lanes, the total wakeup time comes out to be 72.4μs and this also accounts for a single SPI write. Please see the attached detailed report for more information.
