DAC7760: Power supply

According to the power supply recommendation in the data sheet DVDD can be powered by the internal 4.7V LDO. Does AVDD require LDO when I select the power suppliers?

Jingtai,

The internal LDO for DVDD is supplied by the AVDD pin. When selecting a supply for AVDD, an LDO or switched mode DC/DC converters could be used. To reduce switching noise and digital spikes being coupled into the DAC out, it is recommended that local and bulk capacitors be used on the supply pins.

Thanks for your support. I'm going to select a 3.3V power supply shared by ADS6125, DAC7760 and LMK0408.

Are any filters reqired?

Are +/-15 power supplies OK?

Jingtai,

3.3V should be fine for DVDD, though make sure you have local decoupling capacitors for the ADC and you may consider using a simple low pass filter on the supply.

+/-15V supplies are acceptable for the DAC7760.
