DAC3482: DAC3482 Delay?

Part Number: DAC3482

Dears.

We are using the DAC3482

I want to know the Delay(latency) value from DAC3482 input to output(IOUT).
I would like to know the total delay value of the DAC.

I want to know how to calculate Delay.

The set values of the DAC3482 are as follows.
CLK : 60Mhz
interpolation : x4

Thank you

  • Henry,

The digital delay will be calculated based on the digital blocks you are using, whether you use the FIFO or bypass it, and 8 bit I/F or 16 bit I/F. This value would then be added to the analog delay per the data sheet. To measure this with a real system, if you have a DAC3482EVM, you could send it a narrow pulse test pattern that only toggles a upper data bit, send this same bit to an oscilloscope, then send the DAC output to the oscilloscope and measure the delay between the two pulses.

    Regards,
