VSP5611: VSP5611 analog input range

Hi,

We're trying to build a camera using a CCD sensor with an output analog voltage in the range 0.5V-2.9V. I'm thinking of using VSP5611 as the AFE. But I'm confused about it's analog input range. The first page of the datasheet mentions that the input signal range is 2V. But on page 3, it is mentioned as per the image below:

The full scale range is mentioned as 1Vpp. In that case how does it support an input signal of 2V?

Hi,

Both the first page and the specifications page are correct. The input range allowed is 2V indeed. But when the analog gain is set to 1V/V any swing beyond 1V causes saturation. To use the full 2V range, an analog gain setting of 0.5 needs to be programmed.
