DAC3171: How to interpret config6 "tempdata" field

How should the "tempdata" field of SPI Register config6, bits 15:8 be interpreted?

Is this degrees celsius? whole or fractional degrees? Signed or unsigned?

Hi,

I checked with the design documentation and it says the field is an 8-bit two's-complement number that reads out the die temperature in degrees C.
