I have used two seperate ADS 1298 chips and both of them lasted for little over a week. The moment I try to connect the reset pin I get a short circuit with 93 mA current on my power supply. I am not sure if there is a problem with the ADS 1298 chips or something I am doing wrong. It could be the ESD problem but I am worried since both of them just lasted for 1 week.
Also when they were working fine when I had programmed the first 14 registers

When I read all registers I got the 201 as 200. I also read all other register values which should give me default values but the RESP and WCT2 I get as zero which are not by deault zero.
