Hi,
in most of our older devices like this, the default value for the SPI registers after reset is usually zero. I have not seen any registers that are not default zero on these older devices, but I have not gotten confirmation from the design team on this so my confidence level on this statement is maybe 90% confident, rather than 100% confident in that answer.
