Connecting ADC and DAC Grounds to each other!

Dear

I have two situation in my application that you see below:

  •  I want to connect a DAC Board output to my VCCS and then capture the signal with an ADC board. (there might be a coaxial cable between the input filter and ADC driver)

the second situation is:

  • I want to connect the DAC Board output to the ADC board input to test the total quality of my circuit.

could you please help me to correct the connections between the grounds?

isn't necessary to connect the main Analogue Ground to the input filter of ADC driver?

    XYZ,

    After you connect the filter between the two boards with SMA cables, the GND's on both boards should now be referenced to each other. If this not true when using your VCCS board, connect all three GND planes together with external cables.
