DAC8775EVM: Question

Part Number: DAC8775EVM

Hi Team:

Could you help me on below question?

1. How to understand the m%FSR? What's difference between the m%FSR and %FSR?

2. Our part have user calibrator register, how to use it? If only click calibration in the GUI will no change.

  • Derek,

The notation "m%FSR" just means "milli-percent FSR". For example, if you were to read 5m%FSR that translates to 0.005%FSR.

The calibration registers compensate for gain and offset based on the codes entered into the gain and offset calibration registers. The device does not perform any self-calibration, so if all that is done is clicking on the Calibration Enable toggle, nothing will happen automatically. The user must enter calibration values into the gain and offset fields of the GUI.
