AFE4300: detection results consistency issue

Hello everyone,

I have a body fat detector project with AFE4300,But we encountered two problem.

(1)Used IQ mode,Use the Same board.The test results of the two chips are not the same.

(2)We found that the "test conductor" must be near the moist skin.If the skin is too dry,the detector will not be able to test the data.

Please help me!

    Hi Vinson,

    For problem can you please share few details such as frequency of current, impedance being measured etc. Also are you doing calibration?
    For 2nd problem , the contact impedance of dry skin will be high which might finally saturate the excitation amp. I would suggest to install an external resistor between DAC_OUT and DAC_FILT_IN pin to reduce the current and give it a try.
