ADC128D818: Input current during sampling and input capacitance

Hi support team.

My customer is considering to use the ADC128D818 for temp monitoring system.

They want to know the value of Input current and input capacitance during sampling .

Could you please provide the data or information?

    Let me see what I can find out about the sample capacitor on the ADC128D818 and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Hi Higa,

    The S/H capacitor would be on the order of 10-12pF. Regarding the input current - this value is not normally specified beyond the ABS MAX value of current into any one pin, which is +/-5mA (see section 7.1). When you say the application is temperature monitoring, are you using only the internal temp sensor or are you planning to add RTD's and/or thermocouples to the analog inputs?
