ADS1298 achievable sampling rate

Hello,

   my question is about the new EEG/ECG Analog Front End Chip from TI - ADS1298.

In the data sheet the data rate is noticed as 32kSps max. Is this speed achievable for every channel (at the same time)?

Or is the maximum sample rate 4kSps/Channel?

    Thank you for your question on the ADS1298 Sample Rate.

    The ADS1298 is an 8-channel simultaneous sampling device.  Ther are 8 ADC's.  All 8 can sample at 32KSPS simultaneously.

    I hope this addresses you question.

    Can you tell me a litle about the project you are considering the ADS1298 for?

    Thank you very much for your answer. It helps a lot.

    We are thinking about to integrate the ADS1298 in our biosignal amplifiers.

    At first I'll try to get the Demonstration Kit and some Samples to perform some basic measurements,

    if the chip fits our needs.
