ADS124S06: How to reset the serial interface

Hi,
When the interface gets lost due to a software error or some glitch in the system,
Is there any way to reset the serial interface of ADS124S06?

    Hi Seishin,

    The easiest way to reset the ADS124S06 SPI interface is by using the CS pin.  Pulling the CS high will reset the interface.  This is mentioned in the chip select section 9.5.1.1 on page 61 of the ADS124S06 datasheet.

    If CS is permanently held low, there is another option using the SPI timeout function.  The timeout functionality can be enabled by setting the TIMEOUT bit high in register 09h.  The timeout feature is discussed in section 9.5.1.6 of the ADS124S06 datasheet on page 62.
