ADS131E06: Analog Input Differential capacitor Value

Hi,

What is the suggested value for the Differential capacitor value which is supposed to use in between AIN1_P and AIN1_N for ADS131E06?

Is there any limiting value(Maximum capacitance) for this capacitor?In the datasheet it is 15nF(Page Number 59)?

What will be the design equation for this cap?

    Hi Sandeep,

    Thank you for your interest in the ADS131E06!

    The differential mode capacitor (CDif in the figure above) supplements the two common mode filters (formed by RFilt and CCom).  As a general rule, the cutoff frequency of the differential mode filter is a decade lower than the common mode filter cutoff frequency.  CDiff is normally 10x (or larger) the size of CCom.  The practical limitation on the size of CDif is going to be in the settling time of the filter.
