TMS320C28346: ADS7865 interfacing problem with XINTF peripheral

Hi,
i'm using the adc ADS7865 interfaced with the XINTF peripheral at TMS320C28346.
I checked with the oscilloscope the handshaking line and the timing is corret. In particular I have verify the CONVST signal (I'm using GPIO 56 for this signal) BUSY line and RD, WR and CS lines (these last signals are directly controlled from the XINTF peripheral. I have set single channel and individual CONVST and BUSY for each conversion without sequence. But I'm not able to read the adc result. In particular i have random numbers. The data line is correct because I can set up precisely the DAC out. I'm using the ZONE 0 with the 0x4000 address.

Umberto,

Do you see the same data on the bus using the oscilloscope as what the XINTF is reading?

It may be best to use the slowest XINTF timings possible during debug.

Hi Tommy,
thanks for your answer. I have do this test and the data on the bus are the same that I see with the oscilloscope.

Umberto,

Based on the observations that you are able to write commands to ADS7865 and you are reading the same data that you see on the oscilloscope, I'm going to nudge the debug focus from C28346 to ADS7865.
