ADS1298: ADS1298IPAG

Part Number: ADS1298

Hi,

Can you please suggest DC-DC BUCK converter compatible to run AVDD of ADS1298 from input voltage of 4.01V approx.

We are planning to use AVDD at 3.3V.

Is it a wise idea to do so or do you suggest AVDD to run at some other voltage?

Thanks and Regards,

Rahul

  • Hello Rahul,

Thanks for your interest in our ADS1298!

Since you are only converting from 4.1V to 3.3V, you may consider using a linear dropout (LDO) regulator instead. While not as efficient, they will provide a cleaner DC supply voltage without the switching ripple normally introduced by buck converters.

Running the analog supply from 3.3V is fine. Performance specifications given in the datasheet apply for the entire supply range listed in Recommended Operating Conditions table.

    Best Regards,
