adc12d1600: POR Behavior

We have the adc12d1600 on one of our cards and we are seeing the register map settings on power up varies and does not reflect the POR values on some boards. The board design is the same.

There is also a reserved register (8h) which the POR should be 0000h but some ADCs set it to FFFF or FFFE or FFFD but some set it to DF4B.

We are also seeing the application of Power-On Calibration seems to be randomly executed by the device.

Can you confirm whether you are using the ADC12D1600 plastic package device, or the ADC12D1600QML-SP ceramic aerospace device?

Hi John

Can you share the schematic of your board showing the power generation and connections to the ADC power rails and all other ADC I/O connections?

What is the state of the various logic configuration inputs to the ADC (/ECE, CAL, CalDly, DDRPh, DES, FSR, NDM, PDI, PDQ, TPM)?

How long after power up does the ADC clock being active?

We cant share the schematic of the board, that is not possible. I will ask my team to look at the other questions.

Is there someone we can actually talk to about this device rather than via forums?
