ADS8588SEVM-PDK: processing sampled data streaming

Hi,
I'm using the ADS8588SEVM-PDK development kit and would like to process (to compute with Python for example the average value over every last 500 samples) the sampled data streaming on PC without to write them to a .csv file.
Is it possible to use for example the library (USB drivers) of the PDK to create such a C/Python application?

    I understand how the application that you have described would be useful.

    But once the ADS8588S GUI establishes connection with the EVM-PDK, there are many steps involved in configuring the controller and the ADC interface before the data can be streamed to the PC. We cannot share these proprietary details of our controller design to enable such an application.

    You may have use the .csv file approach for your analysis.
