ADS54J54: How to configure for unused SYNCbCDP/M pins

Part Number: ADS54J54

Hello,

My customer has a question about ADS54J54.

[Q]

Please tell me how to configure for unused SYNCbCDP/M pins.

My ideas are as follows.

<My ideas>

* SYNCb CD EN register = 0 (SYNCb CD input buffer disabled)

* Pull-up SYNCbCDP pin with resistor and pull-down SYNCbCDM pin with resistor (like LVDS fail safe circuit)

Is my ideas correct ?

Best Regards,

Hiroshi Katsunaga

  • Hiroshi,

    The customer must use SYNCbCD if they are using channels C and D of the device. If they are not using these two channels, they can leave these pins floating and disable the SYNCbCD buffer by writing a "0" to bit D2 of register 0x04.

    Regards,

    Jim

    I understood it.

    I will post it soon as other title.
