The message you sent to the mailing list 'dataconvapps',

   [EXTERNAL] DAC8734EVM Gerber Files

was not sent to the list subscribers because you do not have

I have a myTI account (mikinski@researchconcepts.com)
My question is ... how do I get the Gerber files for the DAC8734EVM?

Thank you, Steven Mikinski

  • Hi Steven,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your query. We don't release the gerber files. We only provide the layout guidelines in the EVM User's Guide and device datasheet. Please let us know if you have any specific question on the layout. We will be able to support on that.

  • Uttam:
    Thank you for your reply.
I found the Gerbers for the DAC8734EVM board attached to another forum post.
If you policy is to not offer the Gerbers to your customers you should modify this document ...
www.ti.com/.../sbau156b.pdf ... section 6.2, remove the phrase ... 'The EVM Gerber files are also available on request.'
Again, thanks for your support, Steven Mikinski
  • Hi Steven,

Maybe a bit of a miscommunication here. There is no TI Policy against sharing Gerber files for our EVMs or other designs with our customers. I think Uttam's comment was intended to state that the Gerbers were not readily available on TI.com in this particular case. In general we are capable of sharing files (assuming we can find them as some projects are quite old :) ) upon request.

Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.
  • Hi Steven,

Thanks for the miscommunication. Hope you could download the files from Kevin's last post.

Thanks a lot Kevin for the clarification.

    Regards,
    Uttam
