Hi,
To what level of accuracy can multiple DACs be synchronized. Do you have any specification on it?

Hello Vijaya,
Unfortunately, I do not know of a certain specification for accuracy of multiple DAC synchronization. However, even when the FIFOs are perfectly synchronized, there can be around a 100 pico second delay between the synchronized devices output. This is due to the analog portion of the DAC, not the digital side (FIFO).
I would strongly recommend that you take a look at this application report, especially section 2.4.
From the report, it is most critical that the OSTR and DACCLK routing be matched for all devices so that the FIFOs can be sychronized. The FIFOs will then ensure that the data out is phase aligned.

Dan
Hi Vijaya,
If you are referring to the output frequency/phase deviation of each synchronized DAC, I can only give you the ballpark number of 100 pico seconds. Due to manufacturing variation and layout considerations, this DAC output deviation is a moving value that has not been specified.
Fortunately, I was able to find a multi-device test that was done a few years ago on the DAC3484. Please take a look at the power point DAC3484 Multi-DAC Synchronization.ppt

Dan
