DAC3482: TXENABLE pin vs. sif_txenable register setting

Part Number: DAC3482

I am working on a design that has a pull-up resistor on the TXENABLE pin of the DAC3482.  This essentially always enables the DAC.  If I enable/disable the DAC with the sif_txenable bit in config3, does this override the setting based on the TXEANBLE pin, or will the DAC always be enabled because the pin is pulled high?

Thanks,
