TSW1400EVM: High speed data converter Pro automation dll

Part Number: TSW1400EVM

Hi

I have tsw1400 evm and ads4249 board.

I need to write fragents of ads data stream to tsw's DDR, using external trigger. Distance between streams is 100 us and stream length is ~ 10 us, adc frequancy is 250Ms

Can I realize  such capture by using automation dll functions ?

Best regards Artem Sherstobitov

  • Artem,

Are you trying to capture a fixed amount of data after a trigger event, then re-arm the trigger and repeat this?

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Thanks Jill,

I want to append ADC data blocks to ddr memory on several external trigger events, and then move all captured data from TSW's ddr to PC .

At high speed data converter pro user guide I've found only "rewrite" ddr option, and also couldn't find "append" to ddr in HSDC Pro automation dll manual.

Can I use several external trigger events to accumulate ADC data from different time moments (then external trigger accure), and read all by readddr function,

or I have  to read TSW's DDR after each trigger capture?

    Best regards, Artem

  • Artem,

You would have to read the DDR memory after each trigger event. The software currently does not support what you are trying to do.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Hello Jim,
    Thanks for your reply.
We are using TSW1400 and ADS4249 boards for devoloping dopler laser radar. We need modify firmware and software.
So, could you, please, send us source code of the TSW's firmware and high speed data conversion pro soft?
    Thanks Jim.

  • Artem,

We do not provide customers with the HSDC Pro software source files. You can download the firmware and other software related files under the TSW1400EVM product folder and the HSDC Pro GUI product folder on the TI website.

    Regards,

    Jim
