Hi Support,

Do we need any voltage translators to match the IOs between  VC707 and DAC38J84?

DAC38J84 Serdes inputs is CML.

VC707 is an EVK for XC7VX485T-2FFG1761C.

    Ikon,

    Translators are not needed. We have interfaced the DAC EVM to the VC707 development platform using just AC coupling caps on the interface between the DAC serdes lanes and the GTX transceivers on the FPGA. Make sure you are using these dedicated GTX I/O's, otherwise there is a good chance the JESD IP will not work.
