ADC32RF42: Where are the status registers?

Hello,

I am trying to debug the JESD interface and I can't find any status registers for any of the chip features. I know that there are a lot of hidden registers on this part and I'm assuming that statuses are one or more of them. Could someone provide me with the addresses of the status registers and their functions?

Most complicated converter chips have status registers to read out the state of the device. For instance, a status register specifically for the JESD link interface might have bits indicating whether or not it is receiving a sync request, sync achieved, or link errors.

Additionally, there are normally registers that indicate the silicon version and scratch registers used to verify communication to the device. I don't see these anywhere in the documentation but I'm betting that they exist.

Hi Robert,

This device doesn't have 'status registers' you mentioned. ADC32RFxx is a JESD transmitter, and the status registers are typically used in JESD receiver to know if link is intact. To know if the SYNC request is received by ADC32RFxx on its SYNC pin or not, you may consider applying SYNC through serial interface registers if the request through pin did not work.
