I am using a 70 MHz signal as the carrier of amplitude modulation for some research purpose. I want to design a receiver to detect this signal precisely and the receiver design must fulfill three requirements:
1. The 70 MHz signal is of small amplitude, < -40 dBm.
2. The receiver must have a relatively high resolution. A 0.1 dB signal difference can be detected.
3. The 70 MHz signal is coming along with some noise. So the receiver design must have high SNR.
I am new to the IC. So I prefer to get some reference design or EVB from TI. I am afraid I am not capable of designing the whole thing by myself.
I have found a reference design named TIDA-01442. I was wondering if this design could fulfill my requirements or if there were other better choices.
