The ADC121 has a power-on reset but nowhere in the datasheet is the time until the device is ready after a power-connect listed. I need this information in order to optimize the ON-time in a battery powered device.

Hello Jorgen,
The power on reset voltage is 2.7V. Once the supply has reached that point the part is ready to use. There is no need to wait a set amount of time.

Hi Mike
This is not what we see. We experience a delay of perhaps10ms before you can access the device.
This is also more like the other I2C devices we have in the unit (HUM sensor, accelerometer have a delay of 25 to 30ms before ready)

Hi Jorgen,
I was able to find the design documents and there is no specification listed for turn on time so what you are measuring is probably correct. I have sent an email to one of the engineers that was on the team that released this part to see if he has an approximate number. I will let you know what he says.
