PGA411-Q1: Encoder Number of poles

Do you mean that your resolver sensor has 6 pole-pairs? If so, the PGA411 should be able to handle that as long as the maximum speed specification is not exceeded. For instance, if your mechanical speed is 5,000 RPM, then the electrical speed for a 6 pole-pair resolver sensor would be 30,000 RPM, which is within the PGA411's spec.

The NPLE parameter is only important if you are using the emulated commutation encoder output of the PGA411. Please see equation 15 and figure 36 in the datasheet, and let me know if you still have questions.
