DAC5672: high quality signal generator

Hello

I want to produce a sine signal up to 10MHz with 90dB SFDR in my application, beyond 10MHz the SFDR should be around 50~60dB I mean not too bad.

in TI's DAC selection I couldn't find a better DAC and I want to put a high linearity FDA after the DAC.

Do you have any suggestions?

I checked the DAC5672A's datasheet and I found a schematic and the Layout as below:

(page 18 and 25)

actually I want to send digital data from a FPGA to the DAC. I see some termination resistors at the input of the DAC5672A.

as usual the input digital data is noisy bcoz I have used simpler switcher from TI for the FPGA's power supply.

does it affect the DAC's performance?

Hi Xyz xyz,

As long you are meeting setup and hold timing requirements and also meeting requirement in section 6.7 through 6.9 of the datasheet and dac is able to register(latch) the digital input data. The performance of the DAC should be fine.

The input data to the DAC is digital and the noise on the digital data will not affect the output of DAC as long as your digital data is being latched into the DAC correctly.
