ADC32RF42: Power down and power up time using PDN pin

Part Number: ADC32RF42

Hi,

I'm trying to determine what the ADC power down and power up times are using the PDN pin.

Its not clear from the datasheet. Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

  • GHz, we are going to look into this and get back to you.

  • Hi,
The power down happens instantly (within tens of ns) after a HIGH logic voltage on PDN pin is applied.
When you apply LOW logic voltage on PDN pin, device wakes up from power down but the wake-up process takes time. All internal buffers, references and ADC need to wake up, and interleaving engine has to update its estimate with after it receives valid data from ADC. You would need to wait for at least 50ms to get proper data out of the device. This time is similar to wait time required in initialization sequence.
