Hi Team,

I am currently working to utilize the DAC8832EVM-PDK on an internal project, and have encountered an issue when attempting to download the configuration file from the DXP download utility. I have attached an image of the error screen, and note that I am using a Windows 10 machine.

Andy,

Apologies for the inconvenience. That tool hasn't been maintained in some time so some of the more "complex" features that interact with Windows or the web have lost functionality. You can find the file here: ftp.ti.com/.../DAC8832.xml

Hi Kevin,

I am encountering a different problem with DXP since obtaining the config file you provided.

I realized that I did not originally properly download the MMB0 driver, and through disabling the driver signature enforcement, I was able to get the MMB0 driver installed successfully.

Unfortunately, after I load DXP, the device doesn't even get a chance to re-enumerate before I encounter the firmware error shown below.

Any idea what could be causing this firmware error?

Hey Andy,

Unfortunately this sort of relegates back to the previous comments that this is a product of the tool's age and lack of support. We're looking for viable options to overhaul the whole portfolio, but as you can imagine this isn't a trivial task.

You may try the following support packages to rectify the issues. Additionally, if you are operating on a 64-bit operating system I believe the installer has some issues.
