What external reference was used with the ADS8900B in figure 33 on the datasheet, and what reference output cap was used?

    Hi Carl,

    The REF5045 was used with the circuit shown on Figure 105 for the case when using internal buffer and a 22uF X7R grade bypass capacitor at the REFBUFOUT pin. The REF5045 without buffer was used to generate the external reference without buffer. I will have to check with the team as to which buffer circuit was used for the case of external reference buffer driving the SAR ADC. I will confirm and get back to you with this information.

    Hi Carl,

    Confirmed with the team that the circuit on Figure 105 was used for the case of using internal buffer with a 22uF bypass capacitor at the REF input.  For the case of external buffer, the OPA211 was used.
