ADC3443: Registers after power up

Part Number: ADC3443
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC3441

Hello

In the ADC3443 datasheet, in the power up chapter on page 58, there is the table 8 which lists the required registers Writes.

You mentioned the addresses 137h, 437h, 537h, 237h twice with 2 different values: 40h and 00h. Is there a mistake ? Which value do we need ?

Besides, those registers are not available in the register map, so how I can write the relevant value ?

Final question: is the table 8 specific to the ADC3441 or to all the 14 bits family ADCs ? because it is part of the chapter ADC3441 Power Up Requirements.

For the 12 bits family ADC342x, is it the same as the 14 bits family ADC344x ?

Thanks for your support.

  • Hi Lolo,

We are taking a look into your question, and will be back with you soon.

  • Hello,

Can someone answer to my questions ?

    Thanks

  • Hi Lolo,

Table 8 is showing what registers must be written after the system has been powered on or reset.

These registers (137h, 237h, 437h and 537h) are not listed in the data sheet, but still exist in the ADC register map. There is not a mistake here since writing "40h", then "00h", performs an ADC core latch reset.

Table 8 applies to the entire ADC344x family.

As for the ADC342x family, I do not see a similar requirement for writing to the same registers, so please follow the procedure in the datasheet.

    Best Regards,

    Dan
