ADC12DJ3200: Using the ADC12DJ3200 with a Sample-and-Hold front end device.

Dear TI Colleagues,

I am looking at using the ADC12DJ3200 ADC in a design and considering using a Sample-and-Hold device in the front end. The device datasheet seems to indicate that the front end device may not be required due to its architecture. Could you comment on this?
