PGA300: One-wire serial interface

Dear All,

My customer is considering the design of PGA300.

They are trying to use 5 meter length cable for external communication as a one-wire serial interface.

Is it possible? if not, could you let me know the recommended or maximum cable length?

Hi Jeffrey,

Over those distances, the lines will be much more susceptible to picking up environmental noise. If the cables are shielded in some way, it should work fine.

Hi Scott,

You mean that the point is the shield of the cable, and it should work fine if the cables of 5 meters are shielded properly.
Is it right?
