ADS1282: ADS1282

Part Number: ADS1282

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the use of ADS1282. I don't know if I do something wrong but it saturates.

The power supply is 5V and the reference voltage is 5V, unipolar. I give an input with offset 2.5V.

Could you help me to understand what it happens?

Thanks

  • Hi HD,

With a 5V reference and gain of 1 V/V, 2.5V is the largest differential signal that the ADS1282 can measure. Depending on the accuracy of input voltage and noise, it's reasonable to see saturated output codes with a full-scale input.

Take a look at this related post for more information on the ADS1282 input ranges and excepted output codes:

    Best regards,
    Chris
