DAC3482EVM: Interpolation in DAC3482evm

Part Number: DAC3482EVM

Using interpolation of 1x, harmonics/noise is increasing the output signal. Whereas, Using interpolation of 4x, harmonics/noise is less in the output signal. Is there a way to reduce this noise/harmonics in output signal for interpolation of 1x?

  • Hey Mayank,

There are a few knobs you can try tweaking to reduce the spurs at the output. For one, reduce your scaling factor in HSDC PRO a few decimal places. Try .7 instead of 1. You can also try reducing/adjusting the  dac gain in the DAC348x GUI. Also you can try adjusting the QMC Gain of both I&Q signals. Try finding a good combination of these variables to get you the output power you want While maintaining good performance.
