Hello,

I have 2 questions regarding register writes and reads for ADC32RF45. I made sure that ADC32RF45 receives both the sampling clock and sysref.

1) Should I put a delay in between register writes or in between page switches or anything of that sort.

2) I write registers x"4002" x"00", x"4003" x"00", x"4004" x"68" to select Main digital page A. However when I read back these registers all I get is x"00". I enter the address as x"4004" to read register back. What am I doing wrong?

    E.G.,

    You do not need a delay. For a read, you need to write a "1" to the R/W bit of the data you are sending. This is the MSB as shown in Table 27. make sure the M bit and P bit are set appropriately as well. Try using 0xE004 instead of 0x4004.
