ADS1293EVM: ADS1293 GUI Stop and get wrong waveform

Part Number: ADS1293EVM

Dear Sir/Ms.

I get 2 question from my customer.

There are 2 questions need help.

 

1. they can not get correct ECG data under 3 lead configuration

 

they connect the probes to my LA, RA, LL, RL as below

 

And theyhave checked probes pin connection with EVM, it seems to be correct.

Is there anything we miss?

 

 

 

 

2. SW error after stopping record ECG data

 

After entering the cancel button of the dialog 

 

Customer get difference waveform with user guide. There seems a lot of noise even connect ECG sensor to someone's body.

BTW, customer get same noise waveform when JP2 and JP3 short.

Did they do something wrong?

    We solve the issue "PC disconnect to ADS1293EVM". Due We change a PC to an old NB with Windows XP OS.
    Currently, I on side support my customer and ADS1293EVM seems got a lot of noise.

    ADS1293EVM 3Lead setting is different with  datasheet. What will be happend if don't disable not used channels?

    Thank you for your post. Please excuse our delay.

    Were you able to solve the issue?

    Before evaluating the EVM with human ECG inputs, I would suggest using a function generator with a 100mVp sine wave with a mid-supply offset as a known test signal. Tie the negative channel input to mid-supply also and verify that you can measure the sine wave cleanly at the ADC output. Remember to share the ground connection with the function generator and the EVM.

    Function Gen was ok but human body seem not good. BTW, don't need connect function Gen's ground with EVM's.

  • My customer use PAD and wire to his body.  2 PAD on left shoulder and right shoulder and the other 2 pad on Left kidney and right kidney.  Did they paste on right place?

    Sorry, but we are not the medical experts and cannot answer that question. Electrode placement is completely up to the end user depending on what they are trying to measure.
