Part Number: TSW1400EVM

We are using tsw1400evm and tsw1266evm to capture digital data. We are having difficulty in understanding few of the options in its GUI.

In tsw1400evm GUI:

1) What is ADC target input frequency? How is it dependent on ADC output data rate?

2) Do ADC output data rate and the clock should be given the same frequency?

    If you are using a coherent IF input, the exact frequency value needs to be entered for the ADC target input frequency. If you are not using a coherent input, you can leave this blank. See the HSDC Pro GUI User's Guide (attached) for information regarding this.

    If the ADC does not use decimation, then the sample rate and output data rate will be the same value. For the ADS5402, if you use 2x decimation, the output rate will be 1/2 the sample rate.
