Currently I used one ADS7952 in my project, I used all 12ch, I don't know if I should connect AINP, AINM, MXO to somewhere, GPIO0 now ties to GND.

Hi Hailong,

The input multiplexer on the ADS7952 comes out on a common pin called 'MXO' (multiplexer out). You would need to (at a minimum, see Figure 57) connect that pin to AINP to get your analog signal into the ADC inside the package. You may need a buffer (see Figure 58) depending on how the input channels are configured. The AINM pin is normally tied to your analog ground.

Thanks, Tom. would you mind suggest some amplifier for the buffer application?

Hi Hailong,

Without knowing a bit more about your application, it would be hard to suggest the best amplifier to fit your needs. With the ADS7952, depending on your input configuration, you may need an amplifier ahead of each channel to the multiplexer or you might be able to use a single amplifier between the MUXO and AINP pins. My colleague Art Kay has created a series of videos (TI Precision Labs - ADC's) that you might find useful here. Section 5, "SAR ADC Input Driver Design" would be the most appropriate place for you to start.
