ADS1292R: ADS1292RIPBSR eval board issues (ADS1x9xECG FE Rev A)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am working on a project using the ADS1292R device which has all the biometrics required. I have the ADS1x9xECG FE Rev A eval board and have obtained a Windows 7 machine as Win-10 does not support this environment.

All installation steps in the ADS1x9xECG Users Guide work and driver is installed and visible but when I attempt to run the ADS1x9x ECG-FE software, I receive an error message shown below:

I'm not sure how to proceed as the manual does not explain this error type. Some urgent assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Jean,

I really am very sorry that you are having trouble with the ADS1292RECG-FE software. This issue actually sounds like it's related to your PC. Please check to see that the folder 'Program Files (x86) > Texas Instruments > ADS1x9xevm > saved' actually exists on your hard drive and make sure its attributes are not set to 'read only'.

Great! Were you able to confirm the attributes were not set to 'read only'?

Hi Tom,

Actually, I failed to check read only attributes. Correcting this resulted in the system communicating and resolving the issue. Many thanks for your kind assistance with this.
